We leave for Switzerland tomorrow and wanted to have a last lunch with our friends here. Monique suggested a place outside Pernes-les-Fontaines, a restaurant/winery combo in the middle of vineyards. She didn't need to say any more! Sara and Christian joined us, along with Monique's husband James. Plus Mica and her boyfriend Ugo.
The weather was perfect and we had a long, lazy lunch in the winery's courtyard, surrounded by old stone walls. Good food, good wine, good friends - it was the perfect way to finish our stay here in Provence.
